A moment in mid-air

Bike magic

 We’re headed off, kids.

We’re jumping off and steering the car toward Mom and Dad and brothers and families in lower Michigan.

Sailboats on the Lower Marquette Harbor

Kiah and I are trying to fit in this trip before Barry’s knee surgery one week from tomorrow.

Young crew

These pictures were taken on Tuesday in Marquette while we waited for Kiah’s plane to arrive.

It’s 7:05 a.m.  We’re leaving in two hours and I haven’t started packing yet.

Just wanted to tell you~~I’m not going to be posting blogs during our trip downstate.

It feels more important to focus totally on family this trip.

So will see you when we return next week!

A moment in mid-air

Enjoy these summer days…

  5. Have a wonderful trip to Mom’s and Dad’s … talking, singing, driving in comfortable mom-daughter silence … and may your visit be one of closeness, soaking up one another’s offerings, all wrapped in love. Thinking of you…

  8. Have a great time, Kathy! These are wonderful photos of summer. Carefree!

Good that Barry gets his knee fixed now. He’ll have lots of time to recuperate for next year’s fishing contest. Give him my best.

  9. Safe travels Kathy and Kiah! Enjoy your time away with loved ones. Tell Barry I wish him the best…my friend Cindy is having her knee surgery today!

  10. I already told you this elsewhere but I hope you have a fantastic and safe trip. (((HUGS)))

  15. Thanks for all the wonderful safe-travel wishes. Can’t believe we’re headed back home to the Upper Peninsula tomorrow. We’ll travel all day (nine and one half hours if we don’t stop…add hours for extra stops) and tuck ourselves into bed in the woods tomorrow night. It’s been great to see my mom and dad and other family members again. It’s been good to be focused on everyone here and not running back & forth to the computer. Hope all is well with all of you!

  16. I hope you’ve been having a fab time. :)
