From Paris to Prague

Hi everyone! This is Kathy’s daughter, Kiah, and my mom asked me to share with you some of my photos from my summer in Europe. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to spend six weeks touring Europe recently. We went into our trip with no travel plans after our first week in Paris and ended up traveling to Naples, Rome, Barcelona, Prague, Berlin and back to Paris before heading home to New York. The entire trip was amazing but the city of Naples really stood out as a special place. Enjoy the photo tour! Love, Kiah

Kiah – Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful photos! I was wanting to ask your Mom to have you fill us in on your adventures so this was a special treat. My daughter honeymooned in Prague and fell in love with it. By your pictures, I can see why. A year ago they also got to do 5 weeks touring (on their own) Europe and visited many of the places you did. At that time, they fell in love with Spain. I’ve never been to Europe, but thanks to folks like you…I feel like I’ve come close. Thanks again!

Kiah, I love that your photos aren’t all of scenery. Including the food dishes and the bubbly on the beach broadens our experience of your marvellous trip. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Kiah! How terrific to see you here, and to bask in your beautiful and whimisical photos! Thanks so much for sharing them. I’m so glad you’ve been home for a bit, although some of your time here has been worrisome. Sorry that this time around I didn’t run into you and your Mom at Pat’s (the grocery store, for your mom’s benefit. There’s an inside joke there, as usual, between the 2 of us). I hope you’re off to new and exciting adventures. Be safe, be well, and thank you again for sharing! Hugs to you.

If for no other reason than for pizza, Naples it is. Thanks so much for sharing.

  10. My daughter spent a semester abroad in England and took advantage of the transportation systems to travel around Europe. Looks like you and your boyfriend did the same. Oh, how I wish the US could get their act together and create such a system.

Love the photos! So bright and cheerful.

Hi Kiah – I have a feeling this amazing trip will be a memory you will cherish forever! “Old Town Square, Prague” caught my eye especially – amazing architecture and so different from what we have here in our cities. My great-grandmother was born in Prague and I’ve never seen pictures of it before. Thank you for sharing!

Kiah, thank you!! I am imagining what those amazing pizzas might have tasted like (on my list of must-eat-someday). And what it might have been like to see some of Gaudi’s fantastical structures. What a wonderful trip 🙂

Great photos. My fave was the pizza in Naples. Greedy me!
Question: In one of the Prague photos there are sticks in the water. What is it?
