Wonderful collection. The Road shots are wondrous!
Love, love, love the magic road! Feels like there’s a little frost on the pumpkin. 🙂
Very Good Thanks.
Follow the yellow-leaf road, follow the yellow-leaf road …
Love the curving road with fog in the low parts …
It’s a brief and glorious time of the year !
Wow – great photos! Wish I could throw in my two red maple trees – they are awesome – and it would look great in your green/yellow scenery!
Hugs,
SuZen
oooo I love these pictures!! and what Sybil says…”follow the yellow-leaf road, follow the yellow-leaf road” 🙂 beautiful!!
these are beautiful
Aren’t the trees just still so pretty in their yellow-ness? These photos give such honor to the beauty! Thanks for taking them and for sharing … love!
They look so pretty! All that’s missing is a little bit of white, and they can be candy corn for Halloween 😉
The photos with the road heading away into the distance ahead of you are especially stunning… we still have trees with red leaves here, plus the yellow gold and orange ones.
Great photos, you can be proud of these!
Love that last shot looking down the road. And I’m loving that we still have those yellows and oranges to keep us company (hopefully) into November. Although, we do have little balls of ice (they look like styrofoam stuffing) on our deck…
Yep, those are the dominate colors this year. Very little reds. Lovely scenics which will soon be wearing a winter coat of white.
Most of my trees are dressed as skeletons this year. Except for some of those stubborn oaks who are rusty brown and all those bright yellow tamaracks around the edge of the lake.
Thanks for sharing your pretty scenery and well dressed trees.
Kathy, such fall gorgeousness! Can only imagine what it must have been like when the reds were still in the picture…..
“Follow the Magic Road” — YES!
Just stunningly beautiful …
The yellows are dominant here, too. Now that you mention it, it has been an unusual fall. They’re getting snow out east before we do. Strange.
Your photos are all so beautiful. 🙂
Lonesome lonesome lonesome for the beautiful north woods country!
Nice. 😉
Lovely! We were just saying that last year at this time we had already had a bit of snow and this year we’re just now getting a hard frost!

Fall in all its glory. They’re all beautiful, but I especially like the second to last one, with the fog hanging over the valley.
Those are lovely pictures. Makes me wish I was out on a country road right now. The trees here are just starting to turn nicely. They are all different colors though…bright red, orange, yellow, and the evergreens in amongst them. I love fall colors.
Glad you enjoyed the yellow costumes the trees are wearing around here at the end of October. They will be losing their leaves very quickly because we’ve had two nights of “killing” frost. Wishing you all a glorious autumn–to whatever part of this beautiful planet you call home, from our Little House in the Big Yellow Woods.
Stunning autumn color. WOW – such beautiful scenes!
Beautiful color! Love the car mirror photo! Love them all!
I truly love your landscape! Lucky you to still be enjoying fall colors.
Just lovely. Thanks for sharing them. 🙂 Claire
the tamaracks are indded putting on a nice dark gold show this year.
Thanks again everyone who has commented! It is still a yellow world outside, but the bones of the trees are starting to show more and more. We’ve had two killing frosts, but no snow yet.
Such beautiful country, Kathy. Thanks for the road trip.
You should see the yellow leaves falling today…there are even yellow carpets that get swept away by the wind. Glad everyone enjoyed!
